Winter? Spring? Not sure?

The Sens are out and the Habs pulled off an incredible upset of the #1 Washington Capitals. On the streets of Montreal is pandemonium!!!

Good for them. Some crazy goaltending and shotblocking were the cornerstones of their success. Outshot like crazy and Lappierre flopping all over like the goldfish your cat scooped out of the fishtank were a couple of things against them but they pravailed and deserved the series victory.

Now there are two Canadian teams still in the hunt for Lord Stanleys Cup.(The other is the Vancouver Canucks if you weren't sure)

On another note. We're not sure if it's springtime or another winters kick at the can lately. Cold and blowing snow at the end of April? Global warming my.............nevermind.

But the spring specials are definetly here. More models at 0% and Ford making the first payment for you means crazy savings just in time for your new vehicle.

And the 2011 Superduty Trucks are here. The 2011 Mustangs are coming and WOW is all I can say about them! If you like your economy cars with alot of class and sporty looks and feaures, not an econobox, just wait until you see and try the exciting new 2011 Fiesta that will be here soon. Check it out on line as well almost anywhere. All car magazines are raving about it and you should see all the "youtube" videos and reviews. AWESOME!!

Come see us at Rockland Ford for the best deals around on new and nearly new vehicles that are just right for YOU!!

Playoffs YAHOO!

The Playoffs are here! The Playoffs are here! The Sens and the Habs are both in the second season and therefore, have a chance at the cup. Although both are longshots we are allowed to dream. At least we aren't in Toronto, the city that playoffs forgot hehe(sorry to all you Leafs fans).

While referring to the playoffs I meant NHL. There are some NBA fans out there but that is another Toronto crying towel story.

But then there are the Blue Jays and Argos. Oh well! More heartache.

Go Sens Go!!! Go Habs GO!!!.

On another note. The deals on trucks are totally amazing. I had a customer come in with a 1989 F150 supercab 4x4 XLT truck and wanted to look at new ones. It was only $3900 more for a 2010 than he paid for his 1989 mand can you believe the improvements in safety, quality, comfort, fuel economy, payload, towing, etc that have come along since 21 years ago. Lets just say that we were able to come to an agreement on a new truck. You can too! Come see us at Rockland Ford and we will be happy to put you in the truck or other vehicle that you need. Even if we don't have the right one here, we will get it for you.

We also have an incredible selection of late model pre-owned vehicles in stock. 2009 Focus SES loaded with leather heated seats and the voice activated SYNC system. 2010 pre-owned Fusion SEL with leather as well and all the SYNC and safety features. Also a 2010 pre-owned Fusion all wheel drive. These are "Car Of The Year" vehicles.Fantastic quality and fun to drive as well as stunning good looks and great fuel economy as well as super clean emmisions. Can't say enough good things about these cars and neither can all the consumer magazines. These pre-owned ones are first come first served as they are in limited supply.

Dave Logic:

A customer came in to see me the other day and while we were talking, started speaking in some eastern european laguage that I didn't understand. He then apologized and said that sometimes he reverts to his "first language".

I found this kinda strange because MY "first language" was baby talk. Wasn't yours? Hahaha.

Hope the spring time brings out all the flowers in your heart.

Spring's Here Early

Well it looks awesome out with all the warm sunshine and melting snow giving way to lots of green.
I just hope that we had enough snow for the farms this winter. That blanket on the fields is pretty important.
Congratulations to our Canadian Olympic team. Thank you all for your years of dedication that gave us great pride in your efforts no matter where you finished.
We ended up with more Gold medals than anyone else and set a historical record for most Gold medals by any host nation. I am very proud of what out athletes, coaches and support staff achieved but must say that I did become a bigger fan of Shaun White.
Now that spring is here we expect to see you out here at Rockland Ford with spring fever. The car buying type of spring fever hehe.
We have an excellent selection of new vehicles here and remember; if you don't see the one you want; WE CAN GET IT FOR YOU!!.
Did you see the Oscars? Haha me neither! Who watches that show anymore except for the hot dresses. Who can name me the last three or four Oscar winners for Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Actor without looking it up? I would rather watch a national spelling bee just in case I get to see another kid pass out on stage hahaha.
Now time for

Great February Events.

Hello everyone and welcome to February in the Ottawa Capital region.
Right now we actually have something to celebrate in February. Actually 3 great things are going on right now.
We have the 2010 Winter Olypics here in Canada and we already have some gold medals. 1st time earning gold at home is awesome and both Men and Women are stepping up to the top of the podium in Vancouver. GO CANADA GO!!!.
Closer to home, we have Winterlude 2010 in the Nations Capital area. We just took our 6 yr old boy to Jacques Cartier Parc in Gatineau on Monday(Family day) and had a great time. Anything better than a hot chocolate and a Beavertail treat to share with your kids on a nice winter day? The snow sculptures were fantastic and in great shape. The ice slides were plentiful, lots of fun, and extremely well looked after.
But the biggest event of all just started today.
The annual Ford Trim A Truck Program. That's right!!! It's back. And even better than before.
If you purchase a new truck,F-150,Super Duty,Ranger or Sport-Trac, you will be able to choose up to $1000.00 free accessories for the truck. Dress it up and make it just right FOR YOU!!.
But wait!! What if you want a car, or suv, or cuv? Should you be left out? I DON"T THINK SO!! Come on in and we will provide you with $1000.00 credit towards a down payment, or ESP warranty. This year you count too!.

OMG I forgot about the 4th event which is exclusive to Rockland Ford.
Our ROCK-LYMPICS SALES EVENT. This event is for pre-owned vehicles and we guarantee you will be a winner at the ROCK-LYMPICS. Anyone who takes delivery of one of our fully reconditioned used vehicles will have a choice of......get ready....... you won't believe it......... 1. a 42" plasma T.V.. or 2. $1000.00 shopping at Accent Furniture. or 3. $1000.00 shopping at Grenon's Your Independant Grocers. This event is From February 22nd to March 1st only and promises to be fun and exciting.
Please call to book an appointment with one of our helpfull staff and we will make sure you are looked after. Imagine the new 42" T.V. to watch the playoffs. The new easy chair for supreme comfort or maybe even all the "comfort food" needed to watch those romantic comedies. It's all up to you.
See you soon at Rockland Ford.

2009 Demo Derby

Yahoooooo! OMG what a great time we had at this years Rockland Ford Demolition Derby. It was our 5th annual event and the crowds were awesome. The day was sunny and warm and the fans were plentiful and LOUD. Just the way we like 'em!!
The drivers were crazy and brave and definetly skillful. The pit crews got the cars ready for each round with such hard work and mechanical talent that we didn't have any hiccups with starting times for any of the rounds.
The vendors did a very brisk business and we thank them for working hard to keep the crowds bellies full and in timely manners so that there were no long waits. I don't think I've ever seen so many poutines served in one day. The pizza was terrific as well and everyone enjoyed a slice or two (Three for me hehehe).
The kids loved seeing the cars smash as much as us (supposed) grown ups. There were so so many faces that we recognized from our past events and many many new faces that we welcomed as well.
Thank you so much to all of our sponsors for without you we couldn't raise the money for the community that we do. It was a hard year on the economy but we still had many sponsors donate money and assistance so thank you again from all of us here.
Speaking of help.........Thanks to RDDHS and L'escale High School as well for helping get us excellent volunteer students. We had many young people help us out and stay late to help with the cleanup as well. Even though it was a gross nasty job to clean up all the garbage afterwards; I never received complaints from them and they were all mature in dealing with the crowds. There were a few standouts that were exceptional but everyone worked together to get eveything done.
Special thanks to Anthony Moreau-Kouleib, Cameron McManus, William Gavin, and Mitchell Lahey, who put in 4 days of work each to help get ready for this event so that you all could have fun.
I hope to have the final amount that we raised for the community soon but stay tuned and we'll get you that info.

Thank you again, all of you, for your support and we hope you had a great time!!!

Come back next year too O.K.

Now time for:
